It’s worth the watch to see what a massive difference lighting, make up, hairstyling and image editing can do to a person. Shows anyone with access to all these things can look pretty damn great too, not just celebs.

Sia - Elastic Heart
It is sad to see such a backlash to Sia’s beautiful music video, “Elastic Heart.” People are calling it “pedophilia” and saying it is disturbing seeing a man and a child dance together, seemingly naked, in a “sexual” manner. I think the saddest part about these allegations is how conditioned many people’s brains have become to hypersexualized music videos. When other artists perform some sort of fellatio on inanimate objects, no one is outraged because we are so overexposed to sex, but when raw human emotions and interactions come out, it obviously has to do with sex. Many people can’t see any form of body contact, whether it is modern dance or symbolism for a father embracing their child, as anything other than sexual. When I watched this video I saw these animalistic features in two people trapped in a literal and figurative cage. The girl could escape, but the man could not. After I looked up the meaning behind the video, I saw that Sia’s father had dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder, and it was something both she and he struggled with emotionally and seemingly physically. Also, Sia said herself the two dancers represent two sides of herself at war. To dismiss someones painful memories as being lecherous because of something so simple and natural as the human touch is ludicrous. Modern dance has the power to tell very emotional stories, especially so when there are two dancers present. Not all music videos are meant to be sexual. Especially this one.

I love Ann Reardon when she shits all over these fake how-to videos.
Yeah she’s great! Her videos were actually featured on a BBC segment on twitter about how dangerous some of these life hacks can be to attempt
So the debunking video above led me to watch another debunking video, which started down a very intriguing wormhole of asking why people are producing fake how-to videos like this, and the short version is they’re exploiting algorithms to generate ad revenue and the long version is they’re produced by a Russian content farm that has made some forays into American political ads.
Which is abruptly sobering and worth watching.
She seriously doesn’t deserve the treatment youtube’s been giving her, so please support her as much as you can and make sure this shitty farming channel goes down in flames.
It promotes EXTREMELY DANGEROUS activities such as PUTTING STRAWBERRIES INTO A GLASS OF BLEACH TO TURN THEM WHITE WHICH IS POISONOUS. AND POURING LAVA HOT CARAMEL ONTO A SPINNING WHISK, WHICH WOULD EASILY BURN YOU AND LEAVE A SCAR.
It’s amazing how youtube still tolerates this kind of behavior just because it’s pumping out videos 24/7 and sucking up all of the views. It’s unacceptable and it needs to be stopped as soon as possible.
Channels like 5 minute crafts and a few others are some of the largest youtube channels on the platform because they’re all from content farms. Commentary youtubers like Danny Gonzales, Drew Gooden, Jarvis Johnson and Cody Ko have been going down the rabbit hole of this for ages
Okay so they’re the ones that make the “kids react!” And “YouTubers react!” videos and that’s basically all they’re known for and they tried to copyright the whole “person reacting to a video while on camera” video format. They want it so that if someone makes a reaction video they have to pay them for a licence and then give them some of the money that’s made off the video. Naturally, no one is having their bullshit because it’s around the equivalent of George Lucas trying to copyright the entire science fiction genre just because he made star wars. Reaction videos have been around since like, fuck, the 80′s. All they did was modernize it and now they think they own the damn place and ugh here Crit1kal can explain is much better than me
