windows 10 not only monitors you and sends reports to your parents but your parents can also block you from visiting certain websites
this could be literally life threatening to people who aren’t out due to homophobic/transphobic parents or those who are struggling with mental illness and go to websites for help
it will alert your parents if you try to visit a blocked website
i’m sure incognito tabs and deleting history doesn’t work, i think they’ll still show up

This is false, about 95% false. The ONLY WAY your parents can access your searches/whatever is if you share a computer, have a child/family account, and switch on Family Safety Settings. This is a feature on both windows 7, 8, and 10. It’s not new.
This has 9000+ notes and people are literally taking this seriously. You’re causing unnecessary panic attacks.
What’s most likely happened here is that OP had a “Family Account” set up for them and is only now realizing what that is. Your parents cannot get your info unless you explicitly accept a request for them to monitor your stuff.
It not a fucking “You use windows 10 and your parents know everything now!!! Microsoft magically got your parents email and is illegally sharing your info with them!!! Because fuck the law!”
