I think the biggest piece of absolute nonsense I’ve ever seen on this website was where a lot of people genuinely believed that trans men were “traitors” and were “becoming men to oppress the women” and I still see this whole “trans women are perfect but trans men are trash” thing but in lesser quantities and holy fuck man I will call almost anyone out on some bullshit but sometimes all you can do say is yikes and move tf on like I was at a loss for words whenever I saw that kind of bullshit
This shit still goes on if you ever look at radfem/terf blogs (do not) and yeah it’s probably not worth responding to them. In my experience, no matter how politely you respond to them, they’ll block you for just disagreeing with them.
Well now-a-days its just terfs and no one listens to them anyway because they’re just so fuckin shitty and everyone knows it and we just ignore them.
But rewind a few years to where it wasn’t just terfs pulling this bullshit. It was like, this whole fuckin trend to bring down trans men, like it was so commonplace that if anyone spoke out about it, they would be more likely to be shot down/chased off tumblr/have no support/etc. instead of the people who were literally out there saying shit like “trans men < trans women reblog if you agree” ,, like that was an actual 10k+ note post I remember from a few years back.
