Do not take the above information as “well he’s polling well so everything’s okay!” he is still not projected to take the Democratic nom. so PLEASE keep spreading the word and keep supporting his campaign and get him into office
In October 2019 Eric Andre endorsed Bernie Sanders for president to which Hannibal publicly commented “too old.” People did not react favorably to this and then it came to light that Hannibal Buress is a landlord and opposed the prospect of rent control. THEN it came to light that he wanted to convert the housing he owned into an AirB&B Hotel (which he discussed in his act as well as at least one podcast but allegedly others) which meant he terminated some of his tenants’ leases early (though he did allegedly offer them monetary compensation for the move). Hannibal can also be seen personally trolling “nobodies” on twitter messaging them privately which may not be super relevant but to me demonstrates how this was very personal to him. Clearly the idea of Bernie getting elected got him really heated. Was it directly connected to his fairly recent accumulation of wealth?? Who can say? But the speculation here implies the moral incompatibility has affected their professional relationship if not their personal one.
I literally had to block Hannibal on Twitter because he started messaging and spamming me after I called him out for being a landlord and saying he had shitty jokes (in reference to him making jokes about Bill Cosby and date r*pe and the mic cutting out during it). He name searched himself in order to do so, I (or no one else) had tagged him. He's just that anal.
He's just not a pleasant person at all.

I’m glad this is going around. People, Bernie stands for those of us who aren’t rich, who aren’t white, who aren’t in positions to abuse their power. There’s a LOT of hype going around because the media says Bernie can’t be elected (how’s that for pretentious? I thought voters decided that?) and because it’s easy to capitalize on buzzwords and then define them on the fly rather than define them by what they actually mean.
There is a HUGE volume of content out there spoken directly by Bernie. For decades his message has been consistent and unflinching. Just like this. Repost his actual words. Take away the media’s power to color this important man’s bid for president by refusing to say what they want you to think he says.
And then think. Of all the candidates running, do any of them speak like this? Do any of them have a message that’s about us, the little people? Do any of them actually give a shit?
Bernie does. I’ve met him a few times. He is…this. No games.

I don’t even live in the states and I am tempted to donate to this man.
I’ve been a big fan of Bernie Sanders for a minute and I’m glad he’s added his voice to the presidential race and debates.
If we have to have another white man as president, please let it be him.
The more I learn about Bernie Sanders, the more impressed I am with him.
I normally don’t say this but this needs more notes. his biggest financial backers of labor unions who can’t shell out millions rich people and mega corporations can. a big part of Bernie’s campaign is gonna be word of mouth and social media.
