Why do Black Men hate darkskinned Black Women so much?
Don’t even try to play these off as “jokes”. These are real racially charged stereotypes that are projected onto Black Women, this dehumanizing. Why do people think insulting Black Women is funny? Insult anyone else and it’s rude, aim it at a Black Woman and suddenly you’re Kevin Hart.
Yet again, the only people who care about Black Women are Black Women.
Let’s be honest - gay media lacks representation of people of color. Not only that, they don’t want to acknowledge the origins of mainstream gay trends. On May 9, Out magazine published an article about how straight people steal slang and other trends from gay people, but did not bother to educate themselves on the true origins of those trends first. Needless to say the article sparked some outrage on the Internet. Hopefully that’ll teach Out a lesson, because if you want to support minorities, you can’t just pick out one, you have to support them all!

British actor and The Danish Girl star Eddie Redmayne just basically gave himself the world’s loudest pat on the back for “introducing” the world to the struggles of the trans community — and Twitter, predictably, is having none of it. Many railed against the comments, while others took issue with a bigger Redmayne/Danish Girl problem.
