It's not more or less difficult, just a different field that relies on a whole different set of skills/traits in which to explore humanity's mental capacity. Yeah I literally don’t understand why people get so bent out of shape about why art and stem have to be the same like they’re not the same, they shouldn’t be handled the same, they shouldn’t be taught the same, I don’t understand why some people - frankly mostly first year white ‘art hoes’ are so obsessed with art and stem being the same like they’re not the same, they arent meant to be the same, take the kumbaya ‘we’re all the same’ unity staff out of your ass and go do some yoga or smth

Cal Lane (b 1968) is a Canadian sculptor, known for creating delicate, lacy sculptures out of industrial steel products.

Lane was born in Nova Scotia and raised on Vancouver Island, where she trained as a hairdresser and a welder. She has a bachelor’s degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a Master of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Purchase.

Cal Lane uses a plasma cutter or an oxy-acetylene torch to cut intricate patterns into industrial steel products.
