Love this comment on the @nytimes Clinton endorsement.
You know how many stories like this I heard about Hillary? People’s posts on FB, or here, or on Twitter? Stories about how Hillary went out of her way to help them, or extend a kindness, or just reach out and let them know they weren’t alone. Deeds she did with no political upside, no media, no publicity, no reason except her desire to help people who asked for her assistance, or even those who didn’t. Those godmotherfuckingdammit emails revealed time after her time her asking her staff if they could help this person, or that person, or this group of people. And for every story I heard (and I heard dozens) there were no doubt dozens more I didn’t hear.
And we just elected a man who cut off his own disabled nephew’s medical care out of spite.
I feel like throwing myself at her feet and begging her forgiveness.
