I know a friend whos mom works for Oracle (The developers behind java for anyone who doesn't know) And like i complain everytime i use it to them. Like it's only used for phet simulations. and a select few games. I honestly feel like it would be more useful to learn C++ or C, Or C, or Python or anything. idk if thats your feeling also but Java just gives me headaches trying to code in it.
