Listen. Yall are gonna do them either way so you might as well be safe doing it. I personally view it in a similar light as “abstinence only” sex ed vs. actually teaching kids how to have safe sex. Telling them “just don’t do it!” obviously doesn’t work, the best approach is “we both know you’re going to do this, so here’s how to be safe”
