jess!! i remember you saying you're really into makeup, right?! how in the name of god do you makeup geniuses actually cover acne/spots totally?? like i can dull the redness with a small bit of foundation (i'm really pale so it stands out a lot ugh) but then if you look close it still has that obvious "there's makeup here" texture, like it doesn't totally go away yanno

but really higher end foundations don’t do that as much or sometimes what i’ll do bc im poor is do a liquid foundation base around acne / blemishes and then go over the whole face w/ a powder foundation.
the 2 things that rly make makeup covered acne stand out is sometimes liquid foundation makes ur skin look oily & the change in texture from skin to foundation. both can be fixed w/ powder foundation.
also maybe try different brands to see which ones you like better?
