That Good Will Hunting thing made me think of this movie from the 80s called "It's My Turn" or something where the first scene is the professor teaching the Snake lemma and for some reason the thing she emphasizes is that the maps are well defined, which is like implicit in that lemma I believe lol.

yeah looking at movie math is a hobby
