Observational Astronomy program. You use it to de-noise, subtract dark frames, subtract bias frames, and subtract flat frames. Then you stack those 3 together and overlay it onto your science images to get a clear picture with all the noise taken out. You can also use it for coloring and stacking frames for a full color picture.
It’s basically rudimentary photoshop with more coding and built specifically for astronomers
