Ok disclaimer I’m super drunk so this might not come off the way I want to word this but mean no ill intentions 

I’m a white girl so it’s absolutely not my place to speak for anyone other than white girls - so in terms of people of color it’s not my place to be in the front of the protest, y’know? But I will do anything I can to get the metaphorical megaphone that white people have into the hands of people of color if that makes sense? Like it’s a bit of a tricky situation not a lot of white people consider. White people’s voices are treated as louder than marginalized people’s voices and I feel like the goal is, as a white person, not to have your words be heard but to rather find a way for people of color to have their voices be heard. Like the best way to be an ally is to not speak over marginalized voices but to shut up and do what you can to have their voices be heard. I feel like a lot of white people don’t get that and they just end up shouting over everyone else and no progress gets made
