I thought cultural appropriation was a culture taking another culture’s idea and claiming it as their own. So because spirit animals have been a concept for 1000’s of years all over the globe, Native Americans trying to claim they’re the only culture to use them sounds, well, exactly like they’re trying to appropriate spirit animals 🤷🏽♀️
