So at my job (housekeeping in a hotel) i sometimes get tips but otherwise im just minimum wage... should i be keeping track of how much i earn in tips for taxes or something? Its my first job and i just started sooooo i dont have a clue... like if i wont go to jail for tax evasion i would rather not pay taxes on my lil $3 tips, but like idk im just asking u cause u seem smart
I’ve never worked in a commission-based job so I’m not sure? I know on things like FAFSA they ask for that so I’m assuming they ask on your taxes as well? I’d keep track just to make sure?
