Hi Jess this might not be comfort to you but I'm a STEM student studying at a major Midwest university and dealing with mental health/financial issues and I just want you to know... I get it. We're all out here just trying to make something of ourselves in spite of the hand we've been dealt. Everyone I know is constantly transferring/dropping out/taking semesters off/going home to work etc. and the path isn't always forward, but you do what you gotta do. I respect you more than you know.
