Any states in particular you've been looking at universities in? Because if you're thinking about Denver at all I can highly recommend Metropolitan State University. The tuition is hella cheap, the professors are great, small class sizes, beautiful campus right in Denver. They recently finished building a new aerospace building and because it also shares campus with CU Denver you can take some of your classes through CU but still pay metro tuition.
