To the anon that said their mental health is keeping them from being an astrophysicist, here’s what I learned from my own mental disorder: you have to *decide* that you will not let your mental health keep you from doing what you want. You have to decide that you will do whatever it takes. And it’s fucking hard. It feels like you’re rolling a huge stone uphill and it’s seems like you’re getting nowhere, but then one day you look back and see how far you’ve gotten and it’s all worth it then. (:
Yes!! I’ve gone through a similar experience. I was depressed and didn’t feel like I was doing enough but about a month later I was presenting my research at my unis physics seminar and god it was so worth it
