In the week since I published a micro-essay on how the Romans crucified dogs I’ve been followed by three blogs whose content is essentially if not literally exactly the same. I’ve tried messaging all of them. “Did you accidentally follow me with a side blog?” “Am I getting punk’d?” “What is going on here?” No reply. And like, I can’t tell if this is a cat meme that became sentient and is trying to get me popular enough to reach the niche of Greco-Roman Civilization-touting white supremacists so that they start crucifying dogs or like, is this a sentient dog meme out to punish me for the essay, what the fuck kind of Ghost in the Shell internet consciousness SCP is doing this? Is this a really advanced Russian bot or hacker trying to, idk, get information on someone publicly and outspokenly a hard Leftist? What the fuck.
