I’m writing an essay on Mark Haddon’s “The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime”. It’s about a 15 year old boy, who is somewhere on the autism spectrum, who solves a murder mystery. Except it’s not much of a mystery. The story is actually about him growing up. It’s super fun to read and very heartwarming, but it comes dangerously close to invoking “supercrip” troupes at the end. Would you consider checking it out?
Sure!
