They started out as 5 dudes that reviewed video games while drunk. 12 years later they have the longest running American science fiction series (including television) and the second longest running web series of all time. They made the first American anime exported to Japan. They made a movie. They have an LA office now. They just held Let’s Play Live which was a massive success. They have one of the most popular podcasts in the world. They’ve raised millions for charity. They have their own annual convention. They’ve made video games. They’ve made a cartoon. The owners of this unassuming home in Georgia were renting it out as an Airbnb, but decided to put it on the market. They are willing to repaint the interior and make it neutral, if the new owner wants them to. What? And ruin it?
No, it’s delightful. I would ask them to leave some of the furniture, too.
These chairs are “upholstered” in stuffed animals.
Cute eating area- I like the colorful empty frames.
The kitchen is just fine- is that a pink tile backsplash. I see lines. Unless it’s a shadow.

Candy themed bedroom and bath. I love that shower curtain.
The master and it’s ensuite bath are a bit more sophisticated.
I can’t make out the finish on that feature wall. Venetian plaster? Several people say it’s faux fur, but the flat areas threw me- guess they cut the fur up?

The same thing happened when Airbnb started as “you got a spare room? why not rent it out to a visitor for a few nights? you get some extra cash and they get a nice place to stay while they visit the city” and it immediately turned into “I’m gonna buy up every available unit in this condo building downtown and rent them out short term, contributing to massive rent increases, severe housing shortages, loud inconsiderate assholes treating places where people are supposed to live like cheap no-restriction hotels, and then bitch and moan when Airbnb gets banned from my building before just continuing on anyway”

This is the second animation I made for AirBnB last year. The starting concept for this piece was the frustration and discomfort of travel. We settled on the image of a person waiting infinitely for their bag on the airport luggage carousel. Oof. We’ve all been there!
man dont take this as some proud to be american thing cuz its very much not cuz i despise this country but i think its very weird how accepting a lot of europeans are of not being trusted or allowed to carry basic things like pocketknives or multitools on them, and the way a lot of people will rationalize it as like, if u want to carry these things you are dangerous is very weird to me
yeah this the kind of weird i was talking about. ur opinion is bad and if you look at someone just carrying around basic shit like a pocketknife or a multitool and assume they must be out to hurt someone thats on you being weird and projecting shit, thats not other peoples problem
