In college there was a girl on campus with my exact name and I would get her emails a lot but no big deal. But on two separate occasions I went to pick up meds at Rite Aid and they gave me her prescriptions. Which would mean that not only did we both use the same pharmacy, but we both had to refill meds at the same time, and we both must have the same birthday, because you have to verify DOB to confirm you’re giving out the right meds. Unless the people at the that Rite Aid are that woefully incompetent I’m pretty sure I had a doppelganger on campus, in which case I’m glad I never met them.
This reads like the plot of a What-We-Do-In-the-Shadows-type sitcom where two doppelgängers who will instantly die if they finally meet each other run around the same city for four years like:
I found her on facebook and we have a bunch of mutual friends and both served on SGA so idk HOW we didn’t meet it’s like some Twilight Zone bullshit
WAIT I remember another time this sort of thing happened. It was my freshman year of high school and I kept getting told there was a girl who looked exactly like me and stuff but I didn’t meet her until second semester. The first time we met was in PE and because we both had people mistaking us for one another the second we laid eyes on each other it was literally like

She was a senior at the time but we looked EXACTLY alike. Same hair, same height, same weight, same face, same everything. We had PE together that semester and we became like best friends along with 2 other girls but everyone always mistook us for one another; it was actually really funny. Our names aren’t similar or anything like that but we DID both come out within like a month of each other coincidentally and despite not being attracted to each other in that way, we would always joke about how funny it would be if we did date because we looked so similar
