Not being able to recognize yourself in the mirror can also be a symptom of face blindness. Anon might also be able to know if they're face blind if they have a hard time keeping track of characters in movies, or recognizing people outside of places they expect them (like seeing a colleague at the grocery). Just my two cents if anon doesn't think they're disassociating. Unrelatedly, Oliver Sacks has some really funny writing about his own face blindness.
