If you are asking this question, you have probably heard about this furry orange ball which is none other than the Philidelphia Fliers NHL mascot, Gritty. Like the author of this article explains, Gritty has become a symbol of anti-fascism on social media and in protests against the Trump administration. Many people in Philidelphia (where the election results have just come out in favor of Joe Biden) have donned makeup in Gritty’s likeness to show support for Biden.
