i'm always amused when you talk about work and people get confused because you don't have some kind of Science! job. but then i got to wondering, what kind of jobs are there actually in your field that pay? it's always been my understanding that research is kind of a Starving Artist sort of deal unless you work for some kind of Bond villain.
