Stress. I was one of the only woman in my major and constantly had to give 110% just to be taken seriously. I was working 3 jobs, doing research, had a full course load, and my dad had gotten sick and I needed to help pay for his chemo. It got to the point where I realized I didn’t deserve to be treated like shit to make a name for myself and I left
