I’ve heard this story before and love that they did this. Stop me if you heard this other one:
The Ramones were playing in England and before the show they were hanging out in the dressing room when someone tossed a stone at the window. They looked out to see some young punks who wanted to get into the show but didn’t have money for tickets. The Ramones reached down and pulled the guys up and got them in. Those young punks without tickets were to become The Clash.
Good to hear they kept it going.

That cat is fully engaged and is comfortable being there! He’s very excited, so this may be a pretty new thing for him, but he’s not scared. See how his eyes are very wide, taking it all in, but his ears aren’t to the sides, or swiveling? They’re pointed straight ahead, oriented in the direction he’s facing, and ever so slightly out, maybe picking up some sound reflections from the water? It must be very neat for him to experience! He trails his paws in the water so he can feel it (that water is very calm and cats can’t see water very well, he’s probably trying to feel where and how deep it is). (That’s my opinion, anyhow, I’m not an expert, just had buttloads of cats.)
And his owner does seem to have put him on a short enough lead that if he fell in, his head would still be above water and he’d be fine. Although, as the above commenter stated, he’s a Bengal, the leash is probably there to keep him from going in on purpose.
My mom’s birthday is the ides of march and mine is 2 days later on st patrick’s day and I was talking to a friend of mine about it the other day and said “oh my mom’s birthday is 2 days before mine” but she must have heard “my mom was born 2 days before me” because it took me about 5 minutes to explain to a full grown adult that birthdays happen every year and that my mother just so happened to be celebrating hers for 30 years before me
It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine. And my literal “brainstorming room" will be complete.
