(in all seriousness, this is an example of the overlap in play and hunting behaviors in cats. the cat is playing, but playing for cats involves practicing their hunting skills, so the cat is gripping the carrot and kicking it and shaking it and biting it in an effort to weaken it for possible killing and eating. all in good fun!)
Interview cat
This is a Finnish harness racer and a harness racing coach Matias Salo being interviewed for sport news.
Finnish translation:
Matias: …We’ve been here with the horses…
(Cat jumps in his lap)
The interviewer: I see you’ve gotten some cats here as well. Um… (laughs)
(Cat keeps purring and headputting)
The interviewer: It’s okay, we can continue.
(The video cuts off, the cat has been removed)
The interviewer: What is it based on? Wouldn’t it be nicer to do well—-
(The cat returns and jumps in the interviewer’s lap and climbs up to her face)

Matias:
Sure, it would be. Of course, summer is nice. In the winter the longer trips
for harness racing competitions are over, and we race somewhere closer to
home. (chuckles)
(The cat is distracting both of them)
The interviewer: Yes… Yeah… (laughs)
(Everyone laughs)
The interviewer, laughing at the camera: I can’t say anything! The purring is so loud! Matias, tell me; do I have something on my shoulder?
Matias, laughing: No. Absolutely nothing.

some fun facts about this: the black cat started trying to get in right at the same time that the museum was hosting an exhibition of Mitsuaki Iwago’s photography of cats, and after the photos of this started circulating, the museum started to sell merchandise based on the cat trying to get in:
ok but robin is such a sweet guy he helps take care of the mass amount of feral cats in his city it’s really heartwarming and he’s always so polite and nice to the people who watch his videos
also it’s clear from the videos that the cats know and trust him because he treats them so well
for example this is a video of him first meeting this cat
and in a couple months, he posted this update
he’s really a good person
that’s why i left his name in the screenshots! He’s such a nice man and takes care of all these feral kitties and is very patient with them. love his channel
