The American President (1995)
I just kind of feel like gif-ing this movie given current events, you know?
He is still teaching science without politics tho, problem is that the far right has declared all science as a political statement
What we are seeing is the idea of “science” and “knowledge” been put as political statements cause the rock bed of conservatives depends on people being ignorant and in order to achieve that they have to make it seem like all science is by nature “political”
It’s the South Park effect, were ignorance is labeled as the “true center” while knowledge and education are labeled “SJW propaganda”
I hate how one of our biggest political problems is a concept called the fucking south park effect.
internet politics and real-world politics have gotten so separated, and pretty soon all this internet weirdness is gonna come crashing into real life and politicians are gonna start throwing around words like “SJW” and “anime communist” and “dark enlightenment” and it’s just gonna be the most ridiculous fucking thing

Fake Movie: Rupert Graves & Colin Firth
Romantic Drama ► Felix (Colin Firth) and Hugh (Rupert Graves) are well know adversaries in politics, and everything in between too, really. One night of drinking anything that passes by in some very, very boring party leads to one big but quite enjoyable mistake. But it’s okay, everything continues the same. The fights, the frustration, the wish to have the last word. There is just more kisses, tears and broken hearts.
I’m glad I started using Tumblr and started becoming aware of social justice things before there were many people on here. If I was the ignorant and unaware 13 year old that I was in 2010, only in 2015 instead, I probably would have been doxxed and sent death threats instead of being taught what was right and wrong. A person who grows up surrounded by the media and politics that they are in this day and age don’t know how to just wake up one day and be unproblematic. It takes months and sometimes years to unlearn behaviors and attitudes. A lot of people on Tumblr don’t understand that anymore and immediately resort to witch hunts for 13 year old CHILDREN that don’t know any better. Instead of being taught, they get shamed and treated rudely and that has literally almost always the opposite effect on a person. They become more problematic because they villainize the people that attacked them and this whole attitude that some people here seem to have adopted in the past 2-3 years can be extremely counterproductive.

Excellent
So many rich people outside of politics also assume this. They’re desperate to label themselves as middle class for some reason.
It is middle class tho…..
Can I be you?
