Hamilton Pool Preserve is a natural pool, located just 23 miles west of Austin, Texas. It was formed when the dome of an underground river collapsed due to erosion thousands of years ago. Due to the freshwater, there is a diverse population of trees and plants surrounding the pool.
In case you weren’t aware, sting rays are basically puppies.

This is what an isolated pool of milky-blue water untouched by humans for hundreds of thousands of years looks like.
Carlsbad Caverns announced the discovery of the cave in June 2020, but the pool has been found earlier this year.

My parents have like this “weird things” collection that I never really thought about as weird because I grew up around it but the collection contains: 4 “Live long and prosper” foam fingers made for the star trek reboot that were handed out at a baseball game, a set of pool balls used in the movie Adventures of Pluto Nash, a literal .50 cal bullet belt, a turkey hand (claw?), and a wall length map of Aspen, Colorado. like??? why do we have these thigns??
A 22-month-old female scaredy cat tiger appeared to get the shock of her young life when she encountered a dead leaf floating on a pool of water in the Bandhavgarh National Park, India. Clearly unusure about just what was approaching her, the partially submerged youngster’s tail shot up in the air and with teeth bared she let out her most fearsome growl - all in an effort to scare the humble leaf away.

The ace community census is an annual survey by the Asexual Visibility and Education Network which collects valuable information on the demographics and experiences of members of the ace community. It is the largest survey of ace communities and creates a valuable pool of data for future ace community activists and researchers.
The survey is open to anyone: ace, non-ace, or still questioning, as long as you are over the age of 13 we want to hear from you!
