love how you can just have a random animal in your house and u cant actually talk to each other but you kinda can through gestures and word tones and its just like having a little dude in ur house
Like obviously you cant just have a talk w ur pet but they can understand happy/sad/angry/etc tones when you do talk to them and you can learn their body language so you can respond accordingly and to an extent vice versa so that u can communicate is so so sweet
like that’s a whole different species!!!!!! of animal!!!!!!!! and you can communicate with them!!!! and they can communicate with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like when you think about it thats so incredible!!!!
and then there’s highly intelligent non domestic species that we can communicate with!!!! Dolphins, elephants, octopuses, apes, parrots, corvids, there’s so many!!!!! And they can speak with us!!! and use tools!!! just like we used to when we were first evolving from ‘primitive’ species!! how fucking cool is that!!!!!!!!!
