Honestly thinking abt all the cell phones I’ve had over the years (10 of them; one tracfone whatever, 7 androids through samsung and then LG, and then 2 iPhones), the only phones to ever make it over the 2 year contract were the iPhones. Like, I used to be a hardcore advocate for android bc of the open source coding and shit, but honestly the best performing phones, the fastest, longest lasting, best battery life phones I’ve had were the iPhones. They’re a bit more expensive, top of the line iPhones being a bit more pricey than the top of the line Androids, but they’re better in so many ways. Now, when you’re on a budget, Android is 100% the way to go because they have SO MANY options at all different price ranges, but if you’re going for a top of the line, pricest option on a phone, iPhones are probably the best choice tbh.

While that can be true for most basic usage sometimes a android can still be better, such as easily expandable storage, and much more in depth customization, and unapproved apps, that can be very useful, with my basic thing just being having the option, and how I really valued having easily adding media, and others on my phone(over 8gb of music on my phone)

Androids do have the great ability to easily download and use jailbroken apps which can be super useful but at the same time, because of that, they’re very susceptible to viruses and other malware. Androids are perfect for people that like tinkering and coding. iPhones are more ‘user friendly’ both aesthetically and in the ‘protecting you for your own good’ types of ways. People that like to heavily customize the way they use their phone, Android is great, but for people that dont, iPhone is just more user friendly.
