I had a dream where fuckinfnsb,, Progressive was a private nuclear company like Lockheed Martin and in the 70s EVERYONE that was in STEM worked at Progressive working on nuclear bombs and like Dyson Spheres and then Planetary Dyson Spheres as well. And there were like map rooms everywhere. Every room was a map room??? And I was working there and my astro prof was working there and one of my grad students was working there too and??? I was one of the head people working on the nuclear program making bombs and we would like test them underwater and then we would also test them in this like… field of electric towers? Oh and of course, Richard Feynman was there? And he got electrocuted by one of the electric towers so I was made the person in charge of the program and then there was like this “intermission” where I was driving home and it’s the 70s and my parents are there? And high on weed? And then I got diagnosed with bladder cancer and had to have a catheter and like a pee bag?? And then I’m back at work making maps and working on plans for a planetary Dyson Sphere with my prof and grad student and the nuclear program comes to an end and I get like a pay stub for the entire program that’s like “you made $200,000 working on the project, you generated $2,000,000,000 of revenue for the company, you made $5,000,000,000 in royalties, you are responsible for 999,271,786 casualties” LIKE WOW THANKS FOR THAT LAST BIT and then I was in a map archive room stealing maps? For the Dyson sphere?

He is still teaching science without politics tho, problem is that the far right has declared all science as a political statement
What we are seeing is the idea of “science” and “knowledge” been put as political statements cause the rock bed of conservatives depends on people being ignorant and in order to achieve that they have to make it seem like all science is by nature “political”
It’s the South Park effect, were ignorance is labeled as the “true center” while knowledge and education are labeled “SJW propaganda”
I hate how one of our biggest political problems is a concept called the fucking south park effect.
