The good news is that USPS has put considerable effort into a new tracking system.
The bad news is they might have overcorrected.
I signed up for email notifications for the status of my package. I’ve been getting 4 emails a day telling me where the box is. I didn’t think there was such a thing as too much tracking information, but they are giving it their best shot.
I’m worried my inbox is going to label them as spam soon.
Bad news: your kid is the neighborhood cryptid.

Good news: Look at my character marker in the top middle! I found out that if you jump over a city wall in Oblivion the overworld still technically exists and has dimensions with buggy terrain physics but the invisible walls keeping you on the map don’t exist so you can go anywhere.
Bad News: I was caught by the Imperial patrol crossing the border into Skyrim and now they’re taking me to Helgen?

HEY so I’ve done some research on the Wish app and have some good news! Okay, so, a lot of people don’t want to use Wish because it looks too good to be true and they’re afraid they’re going to get scammed, HOWEVER. I have ordered about 20 (small, cheap (just in case)) things off of the site and so far everything has come early or on time! Another complaint I used to see is that Wish didn’t have any sort of consumer protection if the customer got scammed by a shop, which appears to no longer be the case, as they openly advertise they have consumer protection now. I haven’t had to deal with their customer service yet though, as everything has come. ALSO! They’re doing a sale right now where certain (mostly small things, jewelry, cosmetics, etc.) are free, and you just have to pay shipping (usually $2 - $4). There are also certain stores that are verified by Wish, and so there’s that extra layer of reassurance, and some stores offer speedy delivery. Most products I’ve gotten come from China, so shipping times can take 3-4 weeks, which in my opinion is the greatest downfall. Also, their products (predictably) are usually kinda cheaply made, which I would expect for an app that sells things at such a low price, which is why I haven’t ordered any clothes from them yet (but a lot of stores sell clothes up to 6X!!). So far I’ve gotten patches for my jacket (all good quality), a fidget cube (average quality, still durable) camera lenses for my iPhone (good quality), a phone case (average quality), a wall mount necklace rack (average quality, sometimes has troubles sticking to the wall) and an enamel pin (good quality).
In all, this is an app I would recommend.
Okay, so I finally encountered an item not arriving. I contacted support for a refund, and this was their response.
I’m actually super super surprised about how easy and quick the process was, and the money has already been put back into my account! Support, as you can see, was extremely polite and I almost feel guilty about being so blunt in my complaint lol

i don’t know why everyone is so obsessed with the zombie apocalypse when the robot war is a real and looming threat
Basically they got three robots, told them that two of them were given “dumbing pills”, and they asked one which pill it was given.
The robot of course wasn’t sure if it had or hadn’t yet and said “I don’t know”, but after it looked at the other silent robots (who were actually unable to speak from the start), it realized that its fully functional, and then was finally able to say “I know now.”
It can assess itself and its behavior in relation to other robots and people. It can make that differentiation between “me” and “I”, and understand that it is an individual.
People are shrugging this off, but this is a similar self-awareness test to how people put mirrors in front of animals to see if it treats the reflection like another animal or treat it like a reflection.
