Also met Neil Degrasse Tyson at like some fancy conference party thing and I do not like him because he’s arrogant and pretentious and I want to shove him into a locker

I was at SDCC 2012 and for some panel (I can’t remember which) and Neil deGrasse Tyson was there and someone complained to him about Pluto since he was on the board that denounced it as a planet. His response was “You know what? You put the time in, you put in the work for twelve years, get a PhD in astrophysics, spend a lifetime researching in the field, and THEN WE CAN TALK ABOUT WHETHER OR BOT PLUTO IS A PLANET!” After that I was convinced that maybe it shouldn’t be a planet lol

Stephen Hawking might be a bit advanced but his works are very good. Carl Sagan’s books. Look up science documentaries on Netflix. Cosmos, either the Sagan or Tyson one. Neil DeGrasse Tyson has good books. Isaac Asimov tbh too
