When I was little and would throw temper tantrums my mom would always be like “excuse me??” (As in ‘bitch what did you just say to me??’) and this was also at the time when I was learning manners so whenever she said “excuse me?” I thought that meant I was supposed to say “please” so I would be stomping up to my room mid tantrum and she would say that and I would just scream back “PLEASE!!!”
