I think I'm gonna cut all my hair off tomorrow. My hair is midway down my back rn and it's hot af outside for how thick my hair is and I'm gonna go back to buzzing it on the sides and having like a fohawk. I'm gonna give all the ppl at work a heart attack bc they've never seen me with any sort of butch hair before
I did that this weekend and I really recommend it. It felt very freeing and I am gonna save so much on shampoo and conditioner.
God same about the money I'll be saving on any hair product lol
My biggest challenge is gonna be convincing some random stylist to do my shit the way I want it since the usual stylist I go to, who is fully down to do my gay hair shit, turned out to be some mf qanon trump supporter and I refuse to go back to her bc of that
If there’s a bishops hair salon near you (it’s a chain in Colorado idk if it’s everywhere) and they 100% will give you whatever gay/non traditional cut+color you want. Buzz cut on a lady? They’ll make you look rad. Down side is they are costly, go with at least $150
the local place i go to used to be a borics but is now a supercuts. so we’re talking $15-$20 to cut my shit off. and there used to be this alt lady working there who was super down for styling gay shit (but this was years ago, i haven’t had a haircut in like 3 years) so I’m gonna go there and the reference pics im gonna show them are gonna be of me having short hair and looking hot as shit so hopefully that’ll be enough, being like “look girl, this is me with this fohawk, look how badass i look. do my hair like this and dont try to talk me out of it bc we both know i look hot as shit with short hair”
