Auto Somatic Meridian Response. Its basically when certain sounds or visual cues (the noise of paper being crumpled, whispering, hair brushing, water noises, tapping and the sound of pen on paper are a few popular ones) trigger a type of euphoria that a lot of people describe as “tingles” although with me it makes my back and neck spasm more than I get tingles. Look up some ASMR videos on YouTube. Some of them are just a series of different noises while others are things like haircut roleplays and cranial nerve exam roleplays, to name a few.
