Like I'm just spitballing here and I've got no formal medical knowledge but if I had to take a wild guess as to what's happening with mom, it's a lot like an allergic reaction to something, based on the symptoms and how quickly it comes and goes. And this didn't start happening until she got covid. So I'm wondering if her having covid triggered some immune response to a common allergy and that's why this has been happening every couple of weeks, and it's been seeming to get worse as spring comes around. And because twice now I've had a similar reaction at the exact same time as her, and because I've also had covid, I wonder if it could have triggered some sort of allergy in me as well but to a much lesser extent maybe bc I'm younger who knows.
And I still don’t know anything bc I wasn’t allowed into the er with her but I wonder if that’s what long covid is, the virus triggering an extreme immune response to something simple. I don’t know but fuck neither do the doctors or the CDC
