aren’t these the two guys who pretended they were dying for views and then got a ‘miracle cure’ from a random chiropractor

What the Fuck??
People think of children as either sweet and innocent or too stupid to cause much trouble and both views are wrong. A child of elementary school age has the moral reasoning and impulse control of a racoon paired with problem solving equal to or superior to an adult’s, yet unbound by the shackles of cautionary experience or awareness of long-term consequence.
This is what allows the children to both create a black market in live bioweapons while still only valuing said weapons at 25 cents.

I came out to my dad today. He was born in the 50s and has been homophobic throughout most of my childhood and I’m super proud of him for growing and changing his views and becoming accepting
A year later and the pride flag I brought him is still hanging in his dining room 💚❤️💜
A year and a half later and this is still hanging in his dining room. There aren’t words to describe how proud of my dad that I am as well as how proud he is of me.
It’s such a different thing coming out to your friends than it is your family. About 90% of my friends are queer and so being one of them is simple and easy and I don’t have to be afraid. But to face a parent. To face a parent that was once sexist and homophobic and something I feared growing up as a queer woman. To see him in person the first time I came out to him and for him to hug me and to cry- I have NEVER seen him cry- was almost too much to handle. He learned and changed his views and he’s even gone with me to pride once before. He fucking went to pride with me.
And bless it that I got my stubbornness from him because I’ve stood my ground against his toxic beliefs all my life and bless him for realizing his wrongs and correcting them. He’s one of the strongest people I know and I love him so much.

I’m constantly torn between “if it’s meant to be, it will be” and “if you want it, go and get it.”
“if it’s meant to be, it will be” - friendships, relationships, people in general coming into your life, dealing with rejection
“if you want it, go get it” - your goals, aspirations, work and work ethic, changing your life (diet, exercise, hobbies, political views, opinions)
