I get irrationally angry when Brits and Europeans call lemonade a "brand" of "soda"
Also the fact that it isn't like, lemonade is actually called something else like fries vs chips but that you just can't get actual lemonade because the concept of taking lemon juice, adding sugar, and diluting it with water is some kind of outlandish new world beverage
of course it’s not a brand of soda. It’s a TYPE of soda, with multiple brands that make it. E.g. sprite vs. 7up are different brands. Although we don’t really call it soda here, it’s either ‘fizzy drink’ or ‘soft drink’.
I feel like we Americans should start referring to Pepsi and Coke as "Tea" in retaliation.
