I’ve almost been arrested on two occasions while doing science stuff. Like first time I was with a bunch of meteorology majors and we were setting up some equipment on a roof for a CLASS PROJECT of theirs and got picked up by cops who thought we were trying to break in and the second time I had one of my large dobsonian telescopes out in a parking lot looking at the moon during some eclipse and it’s a bigass telescope that’s bigger than I am and my neighbor called the cops bc he thought I had a cannon
Also the security guards at my research job hated me bc I would often work in the basement labs until like 2-3am and would scare the shit out of them by walking through the basement halls after lights out
