my cat Al is really stupid but really smart at the same time like he's basically a dog, he plays fetch, he listens to basic commands like sit and speak and he'll come to his name - we didn't like, train him to do this, btw. he just kinda did this from the start - but also he attacks his own tail to the point where it's permanently crooked and he punches his sister even though she's bigger than him and can and will kick his ass and you have to tuck him into his favorite bean bag chair at night or else he'll scream and cry outside my door all night

also i wanna clarify that we found him as a 4 week old kitten hiding in the garbage in our garage. he was born as a farm cat across the street and somehow ended up here. the vets didn’t think he was gonna make it because he was so little and his mama had rejected him but we bottle fed him calf formula (thanks to the farm across the street) and he turned out mostly ok lol
