Benadryl is the same thing as DPH, I can’t take it

oh man okay so effexor isn’t supposed to interact with antihistamines (like benadryl) but for me it does and i accidentally got high off my fucking face on benadryl.
Benadryl is a deliriant, a hallucinogen, it will blur your vision, numb your body, make it feel like gravity is 10 times stronger, and the hallucinations are almost exclusively the stuff of nightmares. the devil, shadow people, hearing people whispering and screaming into your ears.
It’s like a 12 hour long sleep paralysis nightmare
Anyway kids don’t mix DPH and weed this has been a PSA
So I have a sleep disorder where my circadian rhythm is 54 hours so that obviously doesn’t work with a normal human schedule but I found a like “sleepytime” cocktail that will knock my ass out for a good 8 hours where I mix melatonin, Xanax, and Benadryl into sleepytime tea holy shit lads
Don’t do this kids. This is not a healthy choice. Do not mix Xanax with other medication without direct approval from a trusted doctor.
Anyway……
None of these drugs interact. You’ll be fine unless you have an allergy to one of these meds. This is what they do in hospitals and retirement homes to put your ass to sleep.
Still not a good idea to mix medication. Especially since people might see this and decide to try it, not realizing that another medication they take might interact. I am sure you make sure your meds won;t interact but people that follow you might not think to check. Remember that young, inexperienced people follow you and you want them to make good choices, so things that work for you might need more research on their part.
1. I see you reblogged this post multiple times getting prrogressively angrier, chill.
2. You underestimate the intelligence of teens but seeing as the reading comprehension on this site is abismal: drugs.com. They spell out the interactions for you in both consumer speak and MD speak.
3. On the other post you reblogged in which you’ve gotten progressively angrier you say something about people not knowing about meds like doctors do and, once again, you underestimate their intelligence. Also, doctors aren’t some magical shamens that combine medications in Secret Forbidden Ways that Us Normal Folk can’t understand. Everything about medications that your doctor knows is public information. You can, in fact, look up drug interactions for yourself and can, in fact, make decisions based off of the information provided.

My poor rat baby is sick and wasn’t eating his yogi that I try to give them once every other day or so and he looked like he dropped weight so he hasn’t been eating for a few days 😢😢I gave him a half mL of Benadryl water cut with sugar water to at least get him to drink something and after setting him back and putting food in his hut he’s eating that a little bit but my poor baby 😢😢 it looks like a respiratory infection and I’m scared he’s not gonna make it through the night. I was holding him and he was bugging his eyes and bruxing at me so he doesn’t seem to be in pain, he’s just super lethargic my poor baby 😥and his brother is super worried about him too I was holding him and his brother was pacing at the gate of the cage and watching from my shoulder😢😢😢😢
Update on rat baby: he’s doing a little better today. I cleaned his nose last night of mucus (for those of you that don’t know, rats have a brownish-red eye/nasal mucus that looks a bit like blood when it’s dried) and it hasn’t come back today. The vet has no idea what could be the problem. They suspect a possible tumor because his airways are clear and he doesn’t appear to be physically injured in any way. He’s a pretty happy boy, bruxing and bugging his eyes all cute for the vet, so we didn’t think it was stress. He’s a bit more active and alert too, and I can feel he has some of his strength back by how he wiggles away when I’m trying to give him water. I kept my rats in different cages last night in case he was contagious, and his brother is pretty upset that he can’t see him :(((
Without knowing what’s wrong with the little guy, there isn’t much I can do for him, just hope he pulls through.
