I didn't do well in high school due to a plethora of complicated home life reason, and I lacked a proper high school diploma until only eight months ago, and even then that is only because the in state of Florida GEDs are just high school diplomas. In spite of that I've always been absolutely in love with the cosmos. Do I still have even the remotest chance of pursuing a career in physics when I'm finally in the economic position to put myself into school, or am I screwed?
You’ll want to spend a year or two at a community college first.
Universities aren’t too keen on admitting people with GEDs. A community college will take you, you can get your gen eds out of the way for cheaper, and you’ll build up your reputation for good work ethic. Once you’ve earned enough credit and have a good GPA, you can move to a university much easier.
Had a dream where my coworkers and I all worked at a high school and I was walking around and it was this massive high school. Like mall of America sized. And it had glass ceilings everywhere and plants and shit and I wandered into this MASSIVE fuck off library. It had glass ceilings and plants and fountains and like 3 stories of books and it was so beautiful I cried

He was a KAMS student (kids who are taken out of high school and go to college instead of the last two years of high school) and he would constantly try to One-up us when he had absolutely no clue what we were working on. .-.
Yeah that’s what this kid is like and it’s just so satisfying when he tries to interject with some bullshit and everyone in the room takes the time to shut him down because usually we just ignore him
