Masterpost of the first ten queer heraldry posts!
Individual posts: bisexuality, pansexuality, asexuality, aromanticism, L.G.B.T.Q.+, intersex, non-binary, genderqueer, genderfluid, trans.
This concludes the original run of the LGBT pride coats of arms! I might do more at some point but that will have to wait until after my exams.
[Image description: Screenshot of a tweet by Twitter user “@HTHRFLWRS”, that says, “not nonbinary as in “add a third X gender marker to licenses” but nonbinary as in “remove all genders from licenses, holy shit why would you want a cop to know you’re trans” /end ID]
I'm gonna keep asking it: if the law is supposed to be the same regardless of gender, what is legal gender needed for if not treating people different based on their gender?
ooh rebloging for that last comment, so on point ily thank you
Hey bearded trans men trying to get into restrooms with the governor’s wife: you forgot about us! Stop scapegoating trans women who don’t pass as cisgender, gender nonconforming folks, and nonbinary people. We should be allowed into whatever restroom we want, regardless of what we look like.
Sincerely, a trans dyke
why are you photographing random women without their consent to make a statement
you’re fucking weird lmao you only belong in the toilet
creeps like you who photograph women without their consent are the exact people we need to protect women and girls from lmao u just proving the point
I love how you don’t even ask if I had permission or not and just assume I didn’t. I’m sure you’d do the same if I were a cis woman. 🙄
I had her consent to be part of this project and she was fully informed on the messaging. You’re just proving our point that trans women hurting cis women in restrooms is a fabricated issue. Gotta appreciate how TERFs spend all their time making up accusations against trans women instead of tackling real issues.
Or maybe she alienated herself when she fetishized being a woman + said that gay marriage is wrong. Just a thought 🤔
caitlyn: i support trump and don’t understand gay marriage
lgbt people: :/
caitlyn: i cannot believe what ellen degeneres has done to me
this just in: queer people can be awful to other queer people
secondary just in: CONSEQUENCES HAPPEN, Caitlyn, YOU MASSIVE ENTITLED WOMBLE

Lmao we are not starting this discourse on my blog I’ve had enough death threats in the 6 years I’ve been here and I don’t want any more thanks
it makes no sense for ace people to belong in the LGBT community though??
like who is going around killing ace people?? who has religions saying ace people are abominations?? who is making laws against ace people??
what do you even think oppression is??
being oppressed doesn’t mean “people don’t know about this aspect of me”
being oppressed requires people having extreme negative systemic prejudices that hinder your daily fucking life.
why the fuck should ace people belong in LGBT spaces??
Can we pls go like more than like 4 hours without discourse and aphobia on my posts please I am so tired
Happy Pride Month! Don't forget that the founder of Pride is a bisexual woman, Brenda Howard aka Mother of Pride, who organized the first pride parade. Don't forget that two of the most key figures in LGBT liberation were Marsha P Johnson, a black trans woman, and Sylvia Rivera, a puerto rican trans bi woman. Don't forget that the person to start the fight against the police at stonewall was Stormé DeLarverie, a butch and gnc biracial lesbian.
Okay so in case y'all don’t know, this is from Pose. A series about the black trans community and ball culture in new York during the 80’s. Its got vogueing, lgbt+ culture, history, drama, romance, comedy, tragedy. Its wonderful and historically accurate and all the trans people are played by real trans actors.
This is so good I had to reblog it on both of my blogs.
Straight people think that either you know you’re gay from childhood or something big happens one day and you Realize (and it is like that to some of course) but lbr for many it goes like
- I’m straight
- No I’m bi
- Wait am I biromantic ace?
- No I’m definitely bi
- …I may not be bi
- Am I straight after all? Am I ace??
- Maybe I’m demi??? Who knows
- I might also be aroace…
- Fuck it I’m pretty sure I’m queer
or whatever
