I mixed Mikes into a can of monster and it was the best decision I’ve ever made hooly shit

If you’re a fan of alcohol poisoning, sure.
I don’t think you know how alcohol poisoning works. If I mix the two, I’m drinking 27 fl. oz. of liquid, less than half of which is alcohol, as opposed to drinking 24 fl. oz. of mikes (if I drank 2 bottles in it’s place)
And I don’t know why this is a popular misconception, but adding an energy drink to alcohol doesn’t get you drunk faster.
Not to mention Mike’s is only 5% alcohol. You can drink a case of that shit and still not have alcohol poisoning. If we were talking hard liquor, that’s a different story.
My dad used to run a brewery so fight me scrublord I’m ripped

I found a dead garter snake and preserved him with a piece of amber ($3) and serpentine ($3) in a bottle ($5 but that was a big markup at a magic shop they’re much less at craft stores) with 70% isopropyl alcohol (~$5 for the alcohol and insulin needle). Here he is next to one of my girlfriend’s paintings and a Lilliputian English-Latin dictionary.

Painkillers are depressants usually and so is alcohol so — and by ‘depressant’ I mean strictly physically and not mentally — and it can depress your respiratory system until you stop breathing. Pain killers and Benzos are also both processed by the same enzymes in your liver that process alcohol so when you combine them you also overwhelm your liver and can cause liver failure
My foster kitten

turn the sound on and watch my friends foster kitten yell at her because she won’t let her develop an alcohol addiction.

isnt it like a thing that cats go BUCK FUCKIN WILD for yeast and yeast by products
This is why nutritional yeast is added to almost every cat food for flavor, cats love yeast by-products more than their own mothers.

It’s an anesthetic, depressant, can be used as fuel, and can be used to sterilize. It causes euphoria and disinhibition. There is actually such a thing as medical beer, it gets prescribed for people going through withdrawals. Compared to other psychoactive substances and intoxicants the side effects and damage it does to your body is minimal. However people can become alcoholics, which isn’t so much a problem with the substance, but a problem in the brain. It’s not very well understood but some people just naturally become addicted to things more easily - hence why you hear things like “alcoholism runs in the family.” There’s a genetic component. A recent ongoing study (https://rug.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6mJNECH7ZWsud8N) is investigating a possible link between early childhood trauma, mental illness, and substance abuse.
