I have a "learning disability" so I learned how to mirror people quickly so they dont find out. However I seem to have gotten so good at it that people just automatically trust me and have given me all sorts of confidential info. Such as an uber driver telling me about a tech companies secret high profile project. And an employer telling me a product the company I worked for was made in another country because they couldnt make it in the U.S because the chemical it was coated in was a contamination hazard to water & watertables. I always remember everything they tell me.
I’m in a similar boat. I’m not sure if I have autism or what (I’m fairly certain I do tbh) but I have ‘weird’ methods of communication and people find me weirdly trustworthy and I’ve become the office gossip as a result because people just. tell me things
