Reading through the tags is astounding research into the human experience. Just for context, this is a simulation, and so many people, SO MANY people think this is real footage. Just so many.

Back in like 2014 when callout culture was in full swing people had receipt blogs where they posted screenshots of like every personal post a certain blogger or celeb posted in hopes of using it against them. Like, they would post screenshots to a receipt blog and be like “oh YEAH well remember that one time 7 years ago when you said THIS?????” In hopes of painting the target as Problematique™

George Michael was truly an icon.
Wrote “Careless Whisper” when he was only 17 years old. Sang a duet with Aretha Franklin..
It’s sad to see the same homophobic people who ripped him for being himself, but let’s think of the good things - he inspired many people, taught many people not to be afraid of who they are, his music helped many get through very tough times and it will live on forever!
#RIPGeorgeMichael
Agreed!
Man, I remember the uproar when IWYS came out. Like a HUGE scandal. It’s almost PG compared to what would come after but it was because of him pushing boundaries like that that those things could come after.
He was so underrated, and practically crucified because of his sexuality. And yet, he is a legend. God, his voice…his lyrics! His melody and his range. His sense of time and rhythm, and his grasp of the human condition. I only hope he gets the recognition in death that he was never afforded in life.
George Michael was my dude. This is so sad and he was so young. 2016 keeps on taking.
I’m so thankful this exists. I think that many people with mental health issues (myself included) downplay what they’re going through.
I’m an 8 right now. If I hadn’t seen this chart tonight I’d keep denying my struggle. Now I have to face it.
Reblogging for my followers. My own mental health took a bit of a nosedive last week. Take care of yourselves. Take care of each other. ♡♡
If Goop didn’t try to be some holistic snakeoil bullshit and just embraced the batshit insane essence of their products it would have been a smash hit with internet culture. Do you know how many people would ironically buy a Gwyneth Paltrow pussy candle? It would have been on par with Gamer Girl bath water
I can smell the entitlement in the air
Oregon was a mistake
Oregon, what you doin???
I think I am most bewildered by how many people seem to think that you spend the rest of the day reeking of gas fumes if you touch a gas pump. Do they think you pour the gas all over yourself…? Why are these gas fumes clinging to you through your day such that you will not be fit to be around other humans…?
I didn’t even know there were places left that let you pump your own gas.
@antyc67 in Britain we pump our own.
I didn’t know there were any stations left where people don’t pump their own gas. Every gas station I’ve ever seen has been self-service since the 1970s.
I’ve lived in Central Michigan my entire life and i have never heard of people just….not pumping their gas……i’m so fucking confused.
Oregan is something else.
Sia - Elastic Heart
It is sad to see such a backlash to Sia’s beautiful music video, “Elastic Heart.” People are calling it “pedophilia” and saying it is disturbing seeing a man and a child dance together, seemingly naked, in a “sexual” manner. I think the saddest part about these allegations is how conditioned many people’s brains have become to hypersexualized music videos. When other artists perform some sort of fellatio on inanimate objects, no one is outraged because we are so overexposed to sex, but when raw human emotions and interactions come out, it obviously has to do with sex. Many people can’t see any form of body contact, whether it is modern dance or symbolism for a father embracing their child, as anything other than sexual. When I watched this video I saw these animalistic features in two people trapped in a literal and figurative cage. The girl could escape, but the man could not. After I looked up the meaning behind the video, I saw that Sia’s father had dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder, and it was something both she and he struggled with emotionally and seemingly physically. Also, Sia said herself the two dancers represent two sides of herself at war. To dismiss someones painful memories as being lecherous because of something so simple and natural as the human touch is ludicrous. Modern dance has the power to tell very emotional stories, especially so when there are two dancers present. Not all music videos are meant to be sexual. Especially this one.
It’s unfortunate how many people didn’t take this message away from the debate.
Bill Nye was just SO ENTHUSIASTIC about the topic. You could tell.
For God’s sake, the man was trying to teach people about photosynthesis when asked what his favourite colour was. That’s a man that ADORES science and absolutely loves teaching people.
Suddenly, I was 12 and watching a Bill Nye The Science Guy episode at my grandma’s school while she was decorating the gym.
Bill Nye is like the Mister Roger’s of science
he legitimately cares about what he is talking about and enthusiastically encourages people to take something positive away from it
Bill Nye is the Mister Rogers of science
Bob Ross is the Mister Rogers of art
and Mister Rogers is… well, Mister Rogers
what if they could join forces
They have gathered for their last mission
