I never want kids of my own but there’s something so special about a kid in public just wandering up to you and starting a conversation. For example I had a very engaging conversation with a three year old at the pharmacy today over whether or not I personally knew big bird (I do not)
It’s so important to be nice to little ones because they’re so young and anything and everything is a learning experience. Being kind to little ones teaches them so much. It teaches them that people can be kind for no reason and that not everyone is out for evil
OH! and so I used to work at Walmart, right? I was a cashier occasionally and I LOVED giving kids the ‘scanny-laser-thingy’ so they could scan in what they’ve bought. It literally made my day because kids were always so excited to use the scanner
